Abstract
S. A. Yesenin's works reflect all four seasons: winter, spring, summer and autumn. This is vividly manifested in the strong position of the text – the titles of the poems, in which both the names of the seasons and other lexical and syntactic units related to the theme under consideration are used, as well as in the corresponding semantic fields. S. A. Yesenin used various linguistic means to express the theme of four seasons. The theme of autumn is widely embodied in his poetic works as the most conceptual for the poet. In the context of his creative work, the theme of seasons correlates with the theme of the creative personality's life journey and gives an opportunity to express it emphatically and individually.
